Developed as a modern interpretation of the Prophet-5 tradition, it combines discrete voltage-controlled oscillators, dual analogue filters and extensive modulation with patch memory and integrated effects. Its 49-key semi-weighted keyboard features velocity sensitivity and channel aftertouch, while the onboard polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator support composition and live performance. From rounded basses and bright brass to evolving pads and textured leads, the Prophet-6 offers a versatile instrument for studio production and stage use.

Key features

6-voice polyphonic analogue synthesis

49 full-size semi-weighted keys with velocity and channel aftertouch

2 discrete VCOs plus sub-oscillator per voice

Continuously variable oscillator waveshapes and hard sync

Resonant low-pass and high-pass filters per voice

Poly Mod and synchronisable LFO

Dual digital effects with true bypass

Stereo analogue distortion

64-step polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator

500 factory programs and 500 user memories

Unison, chord memory and polyphonic glide

MIDI DIN and USB MIDI connectivity

Overview

Product Type

Analogue Keyboard Synthesizer

Polyphony

6 Voices

Keyboard

49 Keys, Semi-Weighted, Velocity and Channel Aftertouch

Sound Sources

2 VCOs, Sub-Oscillator and White Noise

Filters

4-Pole Low-Pass and 2-Pole High-Pass

Envelopes

Filter and Amplifier ADSR

Effects

Reverb, Delay, Modulation and Analogue Distortion

Audio Outputs

2 × ¼-inch Main Outputs;
