- Quick Start Guide
Creative Tools
- Bring a guitar, microphone and line-level instrument into one setup. Separate input gain controls help balance your sources for songwriting, rehearsals and informal performances.
- Explore eight guitar effect settings, including Clean, Twang, Blues, OD, Indie, Env, AG and B. Dedicated selection and amount controls provide quick access to sounds for electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass.
- Shape vocals with eight microphone effect settings, ranging from Clean, Radio, Pop and Rock to Bass Synth, Robo Choir, Frog and Megaphone. Use subtle ambience for singing or more pronounced processing for creative vocal parts.
- Connect a suitable condenser microphone using switchable +48 V phantom power. Adjust its gain inside the storage compartment, then use the top-panel microphone controls to develop the sound.
- Record sessions through the multichannel USB audio interface. Send the stereo mix and separate guitar, microphone and line-input pairs to a compatible recording host, allowing those sources to be handled individually in your DAW.
- Stream music over Bluetooth for listening or playing along. Alternatively, connect a line-level device such as a synthesizer, sampler or pocket operator through the stereo line input.
- Use the ep-plug host port with compatible USB audio equipment. Optional accessories add USB-drive playback or FM radio reception, extending the system beyond instrument amplification.
- Connect headphones and mute the speaker for quieter practice. The shared headphone/line output can also feed another EP–35 through an audio cable.
- Link multiple units using Auracast broadcast mode for Bluetooth listening. With two EP–35 units, assign left and right playback channels to create a stereo speaker arrangement.
- Expand performance control with the separately available K.O.–PEDAL. It provides hands-free access to effects, looping, metronome and playback functions on EP–35.
- Take advantage of the rechargeable battery, accessory storage and camp light when moving between sessions. The light offers automatic and audio-reactive modes and also displays remaining battery charge when the unit is tilted.
