• Record vocals and acoustic instruments through two Unison microphone preamps. Compatible Unison plug-ins interact with the input circuitry to reproduce the gain behaviour, impedance and tonal character of modelled analogue equipment.
• Build inspiring recording chains using real-time UAD processing. The onboard DUO Core DSP runs compatible effects during tracking, allowing performers to monitor through compression, EQ and other processing with near-zero latency.
• Capture electric guitar and bass directly through the front-panel Hi-Z input. Use the included Marshall and Ampeg amplifier plug-ins to develop instrument tones without setting up a microphone in front of an amplifier.
• Shape vocal dynamics with the included Teletronix LA-2A processors, add character with the UA 610 and Helios preamps, and refine tone using the Pultec equalisers.
• Add depth and atmosphere with Pure Plate Reverb and Galaxy Tape Echo, or introduce tape colour using Oxide Tape Recorder. These tools support everything from subtle vocal ambience to more pronounced creative effects.
• Expand your recording setup through the optical input by connecting a compatible ADAT microphone preamp or digital source. This provides additional recording channels for sessions that exceed the two onboard analogue inputs.
• Manage recording sessions in UAD Console, using Auto-Gain to help establish input levels and Plug-In Scenes to recall processing configurations for different performers, instruments or recording tasks.
• Compare mixes on alternate speakers using the additional line outputs and monitor controls. The integrated talkback microphone makes it easier to communicate with a performer recording in another room.
• Develop arrangements with the included PolyMAX Synth, combining software instrument parts with recorded vocals, guitars and external instruments in your preferred compatible DAW.
